Sodium Aluminate Dry provides an economical source of highly reactive
alumina that is used in many different types of applications, including
the following:
Oilfield:Drilling Mud and Lost Circulation Additives
Concrete engineering:As Cement and Concrete Additives for solidifying concrete or as part of a concrete adhesive
Refractory Cement Additives
Papermaking:As a filling agent, when used with aluminum sulfate
Water treatment:Reduces hardness and accelerates floc settling
Petrochemical:Catalysts or catalyst carrier
Others:textile, dye/printing, pharmacy, rubber, detergent, metal surface treatment
Sodium Aluminate (Dry) Specs
Solid Sodium Aluminate is derived by dissolving alumina tri-hydrate into
sodium hydroxide and water. The solution is then made solid by removing
the free moisture and then granulated. Sodium Aluminate Dry are white
granules that are readily soluble in water. It is colorless, odorless,
tasteless and strongly alkaline.
